[bookport] Beta 30 problem

Today while reading I found myself unable to stop the BP no matter what key or
key combination I entered. I let it read for several minutes as I tried various
combinations and holding them down varying lengths of time. I finally got up my
nerve and removed one of the batteries. Luckily I powered the unit up and found
my pointer set where I had initially started reading. I do not know how to
reproduce this problem.
