All:
I've been downloading national and local newspapers from Bookshare ever since
they started carrying them, and often use my BP to read them since it's an
excellent tool for that. I decided it would be slick to have them emailed to
me, so subscribed to that service at nfb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx For those who don't
know and might be interested, you register at the website, then log in by phone
and add publications to your list of favorites.
One downside to this is that you get the publication emailed each and every
time a paper updates, so if you have mailbox space issues, this would call for
care.

When publications are delivered to my mailbox, I save attachments to the
appropriate folder, then use the transfer software to try and get the .opf file
to download to by BP.

Every time I cursor over any of the other files associated with a given
publication, the software tries to send them to my BP, and I get a book wizard
error. Eventually, if I happen to get the cursor on the .opf file, it does
load into my BP.

When I open the file though, I can't navigate except perhaps by sentence, maybe
by paragraph, I can't tell for sure.

Generally, when I want to skip to a given section, I use the BP's find command,
and look for let's say
S: news

Then, I'll use the find for the search string
A:
And that way flip quickly through articles. It really is a very efficient way
to read/skim a whole lot of material.

The Daisy files that I'm getting though, seem to have the section markers
removed from them, so I can't use the BP's find feature to skip around.

Am I missing something, or are these files not particularly usable with BP??

Thanks in advance for any enlightenment.
