It's not in the manual yet, but hold down the zero key to engage it and use the 
arrow keys to make your choices.  Very cool feature.

Pardon me if I have missed something, but where have folks found ways to
use the alarm?  I only see one reference to it in the manual for the
latest beta and it says only that it is not fully activated.  I find
nothing about commands to use it.  Well, that is to say that when I
search for the word alarm, I only find one occurrence and that is the
one I just mentioned.

I understand this may not be fully implemented and in fact I have found
one bug, but here's a plug to say you folks are on the right track -
easy to use, and the functionality will be wonderful - day, week, month,
year. I also like the options for internal or external beeping.
