Nolan is quite correct. The reverse track should always be the right chanel. If it is not your speaker wires are reversed or cords to your mixer are reversed. While a tapedeck is best, a walkman will do just fine. And it is always better to record at a slightly low volume and normalize the file. If your recording is too loud and clipped, it cannot be corrected and will sound like crap.
