I can testify to fast shipping when Book Ports are in stock. I ordered mine
online from APH on a Sunday and it was delivered to me around 1 o'clock p.m.
on Tuesday. I do live in Tennessee so am not that far from Louisville.
But, if you have to wait a little while for a new Book Port it is worth it.
I do the majority of my reading with it now. The reader adviser at my
regional library for the blind is probably wondering why the flow of
cassette books between me and the library has slowed so drastically!

I read this morning that there was an 8 week lead time on the=20
bookport. Please don't say it's so! If this is the case then I am=20
in for a very sad Christmas. I know my folks ordered the unit a=20
couple of weeks ago, don't know if they have it yet or not but=20
this info sure blew the hell out of my weekend! Anyone got any=20
more or better info on this?

Signed, extremely disappointed.
