Hello,
I purchased a Dane Electronics 4GB card without the switch and it is working fine. The reason I purchased the Dane is because my unit was shipped with a 512MB Dane card. So if it works, I reasoned, so should the 4GB Dane Electronics card. And again, it works extremely well. It takes the BP about 20 seconds to format the card. The only thing I noticed is that if I put a large number of books in a sub folder, sometimes the unit is a little slow in moving between files. But still I am pleased with the Dane Electronics 4GB card and I am not getting any financial gain from saying this.

I never heard about this kind of configuration. Would you please explain what is the purpose to have a 4gb card that can become a 2gb card? I'm going to buy one for the BP, the biggest that the BP can handle, one of these that have life time warranty.
Would you please advice me what is the best to buy?

It all depends on the specific card you buy. Some 4Gb cards have a switch on them to configure them as a single 4Gb device or as two 2Gb devices and others don't. You'll have to determine this at the time of purchase. I don't know which brands are designed which way, but perhaps someone else can give
you some specific information.

Hello,

Please, I have a question.
If I choose to use a 4GB flash card on the BP, do I have to configure the card to switch between 2gb and 2gb? Or is possible to use the 4gb card
without any configuration? Or is better to use a 2gb card?
