Today NPR Radio had a good interview with a USFWS biologist. Unfortunately the
entire interview is not in the text but it was very good, relating to the work
of biologists and the need for land to provide nesting, cover etc for wildlife.
Think nesting Avocets, curlew, ducks etc. The interview certainly contained
what most of us want to be explained to the public. Specifics about the fence
named in the news yesterday etc. Here is the link to the interview today.

Many of us want to do something positive. Most of us do not want to be
confrontational but we do want to be proactive about the refuge we love and the
birds we admire. We are asked to stay away from Burns and Malheur. In Bend we
are having a “grass roots” pro Malheur rally at noon on Friday. We will have
specifics and links tomorrow. For now just know that there are so many people
besides birders who care about this issue. I guess we have to believe and
trust that there is a process for everything. Judy Meredith,

The number of crimes adding up must be astounding. And the clueless wife of
one of the guys that is in the Refuge kitchen cooking up grilled cheese
sandwiches is a criminal too, though I doubt she is aware of it. See this
video, last part. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqaYAsEbisw ;
I would think those that brought aid and food to them are committing crimes as
well.

Just wondering if the crimes are stacking up every day they stay there.
I know fence cutting adds one...
