Not going to go into the county-boundary issues ...
But the persistence of breeding-plumage Greater Yellowlegs, this far into the
season, is interesting. On a private wetland/prairie restoration site in Linn
County which I've been monitoring for Streaked Horned Larks, Greater Yellowlegs
have been present ever since April, with two still present on June 14th.
