Hi Linda & All,
I suppose it doesn't hurt to try, though I wouldn't invest too much hope
in this approach.
The only way I can see any impetus for this approach would be if
something earth-shaking comes out of one of the two active
investigations, namely:
(a) the civil court hearings on allegations fraud by Trump University,
or
(b) the New York Attorney General's investigation into the Trump
Foundation's campaign donation to the Florida AG's campaign, around the
time that the Florida AG was considering whether to take up the Trump
University fraud allegations.
I suppose other things could emerge.in the next few weeks, e.g. some new
legal developments related to the multiple allegations of sexual
assault. But I'm guessing that the wheels of the legal system will turn
too slowly on those cases, to have much effect on opinions between now
and late December.
So, no harm in signing the petition but I think we need to put most of
our energy into planning for how to protect the things we value most, in
what could be very difficult times ahead.

Electors do not have to vote for the majority vote in their state.
It's
in the constitution. I just signed this petition. Check it out.
