We got home last night. Yes, definitely the roller coaster continues. It
is VERY good news that many of the leaders have been arrested. And it
sound like an end is coming soon to the refuge occupation. But, we still
have real concern about who is now in *Burns*. There were always an
unknown number of armed and dangerous "patriots" (makes me sick what they
call themselves) in Burns and now are there more? The news has said
nothing about where the people who left the refuge, but weren't arrested,
went. Did they leave the refuge and move into town? There are certainly
lots of abandoned houses to hide out in. Did I mention the run down
trailer court right next to our house? I know at least one psychotic "3
percenter" is there because I ran into him. Right now I would say the
danger to federal workers is higher, not lower. Hopefully that will change
soon.
Thanks for your concern. Means a lot to me. Hope you don't mind that I
CC'ed the BOO list. I haven't seen much posted about the danger to Burns.
