One person who has been in the forefront of all this and may well suffer from
intimidation, harassment, and possibly worse for years to come is Sheriff Dave
Ward of Harney County. (I'm referring to the tribunals or trials held by
militia groups that will likely condemn him, if they haven't already. Under
their warped interpretation of the constitution, they see him as the supreme
law enforcer, above and beyond the FBI and OSP. And, of course, in their eyes
he has failed them. This has been reported on either OPB.org or OregonLive.com)
Under normal circumstances, we might not have much in common but he has stood
up for the people of Burns and Harney County, and Malheur and from the
beginning told the Bundys to go home.

been besieged by pro-Bundy rhetoric. Write comments in support or even just
Like the other positive comments that have been written if you don't want to
write.
Perhaps others have ideas of support? My feeling is that sending him a letter
of support now would only add to the daily burden he faces right now. Or maybe
it's needed?
