Dear Oregon Birders,
I’m a PhD student at Utah State and I’m trying to start an ecology focused
podcast in my free time. I’m also a birder and I grew up in Oregon.
I’d love to get in touch with a couple of the birders on the Oregon birders
list-serve to discuss birding at Malheur, what that place means to them and the
birding community in Oregon. I’d try and do some 10-20 minute interviews over
Skype, and put them together in a five to ten minute audio segment about
birding at Malheur—I’m hoping to mostly avoid discussing the takeover
itself—which already has plenty of attention—but instead try and focus on what
the place means to birders and how these events are affecting the birding
community.
Not sure about cross posting on the OBOL, maybe that’s a better place.
