Thanks for checking on the units. I double-checked and this article
stated it as "25 to 30 yards":

so that would indeed be about 80 feet, as I thought I remembered from
the other source.
Not too impressive for the size of crew that they had on hand,
considering that this was a brand-new fence, not buried in blackberries
like the ones that volunteers have helped to take out in some west-side
refuges.
Sure would be nice if we could get this kind of press coverage for
*real* volunteer work parties on our NWRs!
