ThefailureoftheBLM

andtheirfollowers to replicatehisactionsinourStateof Oregon.OnJanuary2,they
tookovertheMalheurWildlifeRefugeCenterin Burns
demandingthefederalgovernmentgiveuppubliclandtothepeopleforranching,mining,andlogginguse.
Iamoutraged Oregonians are payingthepricefortheAdministration’s timidityand
inaction.
LifeforHarneyCountyresidentshasbecomechaotic;schoolswereclosedforaweek,
aBurnspastor
felttheneedtomovehisfamilyoutoftown,andHarneyCountySheriffDavidWardsaysunknownindividualsidle
nearandslowlydrivepastRefugeemployee’shomes. Itisoutrageousthat
localresidentsfeelintimidatedwhile thefederalgovernmentstandsbyanddoesnothing.
ThepeopleofOregonfollow the law. Wedonot
