1971 is when I think my Bobsy Porsche was born, It had to be after that date
because he used
a modified SR5 body to fit the car. David

But this is weird. Here's a challenge for your Bobsy aficionados. Maybe Don
Anderson can help. Looking at my Registry info for the SR-4 (Prototype) -5 &
-6, cars on the registry, none of them indicate or imply being made before
1974. So, exactly what years were they actually made??? (I just realized I
don't show production years for the various models. My bad. Might have to
rectify) .
So....... what is this thing in early 1973? Hmmm. More mystery.
Oops; I should read my own Bobsy History narrative more closly:
"Using the design principals and knowledge gained from the prior models, the
SR-5 production version was introduced in 1971. We know of nine SR-5s produced."
Duh1 So, as Gilda Radner was fond of saying, "Nevermind." SR-5s apparently
started in 1971.
