Good to learn what some of us have been up to with our toys. Just finished and
based 12 more US infantry. Nothing like Tim’s 1,000 horses but I’m maki
progress.

You would think that with the extent of the honey-do list my wife came up
with, and keeps adding to daily, that somewhere, just somewhere in there it
would say, “paint figs”.
But Nooo!
Going to have to put my foot down and ask her if it’s ok to paint up my 54mm
ACW figs. I think I can get that done as they are for our Grandson.😁

Well, let's see. Finally working on the 15mm scifi project that I have been
collecting figures for over the last 2-3 years. It is based on the 5th
Foreign Legion series of books by Keith. I just finished painting up a
French Foreign Legion light infantry company (figures by Ground Zero Games
in the UK) and am now working on the bases.
It consists of three infantry platoons (three eight man squads and command
stand), a heavy weapons platoon (3 mortars, 3 gauss cannons, and command
stand), and a company command stand. I also have a platoon of apcs and a
tank platoon (all GEV vehicles) and a scout platoon (mounted on 1-man
skimmers) from Brigade Models in the UK.
Their opponents will be an an Arabic infantry company with scifi halftracks
as support. Also in the wings are some scifi Germans.

Boys,
I have certainly missed seeing you guys after so many years of gaming and
dining together. With that in mind, I am just curious about what the guys
in our gaming group have been up to. Share if you want.
I have been working on 28mm World War 2 US infantry. I finished 12 last
week and will wrap up 14 more tomorrow, leaving 12 more to wrap up. Then,
on to the Germans.
Take care and stay safe.
Wirsing.
