So it shall be … cancelled. Probably a surprise to exactly zero CITW

Thanks to all for the input! Tim

As much as I hate to agree with Jonathan, I think he’s right. Sadly.

Subject: [bn-citw] Dec 5 CITW to be cancelled?
Weeeell, we are scheduled to host CITW on Dec 5, a mere 6 weeks from now.
I mention this now because the time to send the Nov CITW email is approaching
and the Dec meeting should be mentioned.
Me sez: I can’t see us wanting to do this, and obtaining access to one of
our usual facilities is still as large a concern as ever. But I won’t make
a decision to cancel without opening the topic for group input.
And you-all sez … ???
Thinking out loud, if/when we cancel we will not be approving a 2021
schedule, a usual activity at the Dec meeting. I haven’t yet approached the
Directors from the other towns with this. But an early thought is to go
without a schedule until we are willing to meet again. At that time we can
figure out who will host the first meeting, perhaps by looking at the 2020
schedule and projecting it into that month of 2021 – right of first refusal
at least. At that meeting we can approve a schedule for some period of time
– either the remainder of 2021, or 2021-22 if it’s too darn late in 2021.
