All
To add to the information we have on the water supply pipe. Craig Simpson
was on site over the weekend and John reports that he is sure that the steel
pipe is a redundant one. The water supply was re-run in blue polyethylene
some years ago. We should therefore be looking for a blue pipe and not
excavating the steel one.
I would consider Richards quotation in this light and say that we redirect
him to excavate around the broken end of blue pipe as a first step.
We also have the "third" toilet block leak to fix, again a spot where we are
having difficulty finding the buried pipe. Using him with a CAT scanner and
digger at this end of the pipe would also be valuable.
Please respond as quickly as possible so that we can make a decision to
proceed or not this week.
Best Regards
Ian Lund
