I realise that everyone has a life outside of Scouting and that that time
is precious. If you don’t feel you have the time to keep on top of it then
“farming it out” seems to be the only way. However I feel it would be
adding an extra step to the process. Won’t you still need to know who has
earned what and when it has been spent and what it has been spent on? The
whole idea of if going paperless with the voucher scheme was so you (the
treasurer) could monitor and record the what is essentially freebies. Also
the monthly statements you introduced were to give us as the recipient of
the vouchers an accurate account of the amount of “freebies” we had. These
need to be updated across all the ways of earning them. Beth and I are
still waiting for John to add our site service vouchers from Easter which
means we do not have and accurate figure.

the running of the voucher system.  I’m more than happy for someone else to
take on this job, is the rest of the committee happy?
