Following the January BMC please find attached a request for expenditure on
cladding for the Joseph Eaton building. The request is broken into 3 parts,
the front wall and the two side walls. The front wall is urgent and I would
ask that the request for this expenditure is made within this financial year
with the intention to get it done as soon as possible.
The other two we can carry over as budget for 2019/2020 as they present a
slightly more technical challenge and a bit of digging in one case and in
the other we intend to end up with additional windows which will alter the
cutting plan slightly.
I have left the rear (kitchen) wall unclad at this time as it does not get
any weathering. We can consider it at a future date if we think it is worth
doing.
Please let me have your comments. If you would like to discuss this further
indicate so and it will go on the agenda for February.
