Nope, just that those stand-alone TTS voices won't install at all on 64 bit, and I specifically use them for things like generating sound clips, converting eBooks into my own audio versions, etc., but, my jaws licence applies across 32 bit-64 bit, so just make sure download correct versions thereof, and, for NVDA, I actually prefer to stick to eSpeak, partly since I oftern enough want to use it to listen to afrikaans text quickly/simply, of else just use it as an alternative to jaws, and works perfectly well enough for most things, but still prefer to have it sound a bit different from jaws, etc., but anyway. I found that SAPI 4 or 5 a bit slow, so I tend not to worry much about Realspeak any more... Deon [G. Anyway, just installed them into the virtual version of windows XP 32bit that am running inside the VMWare player software on this widnows7 64 bit machine, partly for what you call backward compatibility etc., and they work fine therein, which means that now won't have to do something like boot up my spare laptop, which still runs windows XP itself, if I want to do something like use DSpeech to render text content into the MP3/audio output versions etc. Stay well Jacob Kruger Blind Biker Skype: BlindZA '...fate had broken his body, but not his spirit...'
