One note on databases such as www.billsparks.org. Bill, on his site, provides what I call jump urls. By this, I mean that the urls shown aren't the actual urls to the stream but the url the page leads to an internal database from which you are then directed to the station's stream. The advantage to this approach, assuming someone actually maintains the database in a timely manner, is that while the station may have a new stream link, this matters not on your end as Bill's jump url remains unchanged. The question here is what kind of issues having jump urls placed in RAV. Note that Applian often follows a similar approach with urls in its database. RAV, obviously, has no issues as these. As Petro asked, post us some stations that are troubling you, and we can test them both to see if RAV can deal with them and, regardless of this, uncover for you urls you can bookmark. Also note that RAV has both a tuning and recording function. Not all links placed in RAV can do both; and just because RAV cannot record a link, you may be able to listen to it, via the tune function, without a hitch. -- To unsubscribe: e-mail blindreplay-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with unsubscribe in subject To contact list owner: e-mail blindreplay-admins@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
