I have to offer a correction. Although this american life said it was downloading and seemed to do so, when I went to check after the download claimed to have completed, nothing was there, not even the "show activity" log so heaven knows what interesting I did in the process. Partly as an exercise, and mostly because I would like to record these programs, ideally in the background so they don't interfere with what I'mdoing on the computer, I tried to record a program from the radio archive athttp://thislife.org/Radio_Archive.aspxI took one program, used the Urlfinder to get the Url, and tried to schedule a recording using Replay a/v. When I tried to start the recording, nothingwas captured and conversion begtan immediately. I also tried usingZanZar.com to convert the file but it doesn't work with php files.
