Replay Radio 9 is geared more towards online radio stations. Next to zero
configuration of the software itself is necessary by the customer. The main
benefit is the integrated guide and radio station database which we maintain.
Station/show information is automatically populated into the scheduler via the
Guide. So, the low monthly cost goes not only towards improving the program
(perpetual updates) but also towards maintaining the database so that you can
continue recording specific shows. At customer requests, we also add shows to
the database and find the best streaming source for the job.

Replay Media Catcher 5 is a bit more powerful in all of its features, but
that also adds complexity. RMC5 will allow you to capture videos as well as
audio streams. Additional drivers are installed to enable capturing these
streams, and sometimes that requires a bit more configuration. The guide in
RMC5 is geared more towards video and music sources on the internet. In RMC5,
you need to find radio stations/shows on your own and create schedules for
them. RMC5 is a one-time purchase. RMC6 is in the planning stages, but I
cannot say when it will be released.

What does Radio 9 do that Media Catcher does not or visa versa? Serious
question so I can decide whether I want to subscribe.
  Thanks.
