Petro, on this list, has put together a comprehensive series of tutorials
that can walk you through almost every apsect of using RAV -- from set up
to setting up recordings, from using RAV as a tuner to uncovering hidden
urls using the url finder.
Petro, later this morning, will likely post the current links as to where
these can be found.

Let me also note that RAV includes an excellent User Guide
which you can find off the help menu (alt-h). As RAV follows conventional
Windows style menus, you will also learn a lot by just exploring the
program that way.
And the user guide, which opens up as a html document, includes a
comprehensive list of hotkeys. Rav likely is one of the most speech
friendly commercial programs on the market which you are fortunate enough
to have discovered.
If you choose to, you can become a RAV power user very quickly.
If, on the other hand, you want the program to just do its thing and
forget about it, it can work seamlessly behind the scenes
allowing you to concentrate on other things, pc related or otherwise.
