That's the really strange thing. I have the time set from 11 am to 12 pm. At 11 it starts recording, stops after about a minute and then does a conversion. When I start the recording manually, the recording stops by itself at the 12 pm time I have set, I don't have to stop it manually, and then it converts over top of the first file it converted containing only the first minute or so.

Bill
Let me say this to you. Good job the way you handled this
situation. You did the right thing by going to the listview list
box, highlighted the show and did the applications key and
choose "S" for start record. Sometimes when I don't have any
settings set for a station "unscheduled" I use applications key
and "S". It's the same as doing a on the fly LIVE recordings. To
stop the recording you highlight the show in the list box press
applications key and then "S" - but this time it will say stop
recording/download because you were in record mode "recording".

Again, Bill you on your way to becoming a very good user of
Replay AV 8. Keep it up!

Have your tried recording the stream at a different time? The
server can be down or busy.

But I understand your situation as you could record it via
"Start Record "S" method after you saw the timer method did not
work for you. This is strange indeed. Have you tried recording
the same stream at a different time? Pretend you want to record
at 4-5 pm just to see via schedule tab?

Post the stream URL for me to test it. Tell me the times and day
you used.

For those reading this and don't understand all this.

Say you set your VCR to record from 1-2 PM via timer method and
for some reason the recording starts and then stops all of a
sudden. You scramble to the VCR, power it up and press the
record button. Ok this isn't the best example but close to it.
This is what Bill did here with Replay AV as he saw the
recording had stopped after a minute or so and then went to the
listbox on main interface of Replay AV 8, highlighted the show,
did the applications key, chose Start Record "S" and the
recording continued on as usual like nothing happened via stream
capture method.

I am having a strange problem capturing a Real stream. I have
it all set up fine, but when it starts to record it only
records for about a minute and then stops. But if I go into
the menu and press record s now it picks up and records the
rest of the show. I have all the settings set properly.
Capture by downloading streamed checked

Type Stream Capture
Is an archive don't retune automatically unchecked
The schedule has the right times.
Any thoughts appreciated.
