Play the DVD on one computer and run a 1/8 inch audio cable (male to
male) to the other computer that will be doing the recording for you.
That is connect the cable to the headphone out on the Play DVD PC and the
other end of the cable to the line-in on the recording PC. Use Replay AV
8. Use applications keyboard or shift+F10 and choose add show manually.
Or press alt+r and look for line-in in the list. You need to tell Replay
AV 8 to do a line-in type of recording. In the properties for the line-in
leave the schedule tab sheet as is - unscheduled. In the basic tab sheet
give the recording a name and what kind of recording do you want like
.mp3 or ??. Make all necessary changes. When you are ready play the DVD
and within Replay AV 8 listbox view look for the title for this recording
and press shift+f10 and choose start recording. You are making a audio
only recording here. Thought you might want to know. When the DVD is
finished playing just go back to the listbox view within Replay AV 8 and
select the title and do a shift+F10 and choose stop recording.
Also not sure if this will work but worth a try but you will use just one
PC for this. Play the .vob file and use Replay Media Catcher. If it does
work then the capture will be much faster. Not second by second.
