Hi Kurt,
Keep in mind that poker strategy has advanced so much over the past years.
The content from e.g. 5 years ago is only good to learn the basics, like
for example what are the pot odds, equity, range, what bet sizes to use.
It is important to learn from up to date strategy content. Today, none of
pro players are guessing if a player is bluffing or not, or guessing what
hand he might have. that is poker from several years ago. Today players
think about what range of hands
can opponent have in this spot, and thinking what move has the best
expected value against opponent assumed range of hands.
Gaining experience on play money tables is not going to help you on real
money tables, because real money tables are quite differently played as
players care about losing and winning.
regards,
nenad.

Hi all,
I have found a site years ago where a Pro published 40 long lessons for
free.
I studied them, made notes and built my strategy out of it.
I adjusted and readjusted it over the years.
I tried to find the best mixture according to my style and personality, so
that I also feel comfortable with it.
The site doesn't exist anymore.
I spent a lot of time learning about reading cards.
I like that specially and at least for me it is helping me winning many
hands.
If you're good with that you must only decide whether the opponent is
bluffing or not.
I try to analize my hands and find out my mistakes.
Nenad has given me great tips too.
I think people can find a lot by googling.
Of course forums are good as well.
Regards.
Kurt

Yes i agree that this mailing list should be mainly for discussing about
issues and suggestions, feedback about blind poker app.
Kurt, can you please share the links from where you learned poker
strategy? Most forums i know use images for displaying cards as for sighted
persons it is easier to see images than read text, also all video content
nobody tells what cards are on flop etc as sighted people can see it.

nenad.

Hi Nenad,
Yes, I know and agree.
What I ment was that this mailing list should be for telling blind poker
app users about issues with the app, the poker site and suggestions in
general.
I learned poker from online lessons and strategy discussions and hand
analizes, almost all easy accessible with the screenreader.
Regards.

Hi Kurt,
Jan didn't suggest to add users to the mailing list that are not visually
impaired. He actually suggested to make discussions about poker strategy
and hand discussion in the forum instead in the mailing list,
because forums are more appropriate for reading articles and discussing
the strategy. The forum that Jan suggested is accessible and is made for
visually impaired.

nenad.

Hi Jan,
This mailing list is for blind poker app users.
It should stay this way.
If not, we get too many emails.
Those who want to know about other games and apps can subscribe to the one
you suggest.
Regards.

Hello everyone, I told with Nenad about this idea. We want to know your
opinion.
I think write about poker by mails is not comfortable.
I know very good social network for blind people. There you can create
your own group, you can divide this group on forums and create topics on
appropriate forum. There you can create text and voice forum. You can
also add some attachments. for example If you have any problem with
"blind poker", you cat create topic about your problem and add record
which shows your problem.
This social network is "elten" it is created by blind man from Poland.
Elten is translated in english, german, russian croatian spanish french
and portuguese.
Unfortunately main page is not translated in english yet.
if you want to create an account click this link
https://elten-net.eu/register.php
in the first field write your login
second field write your password
third field repeat your password
fourth field write your mail
and later you check to fields and click "zarejestruj" button.
you can also download the app on your computer and from this app create
your account, probably if your system language is set as english elten
will be in english. if not, just write me and I will help you.
here is link to download Elten on windows.
https://elten-net.eu/download
after installation probably you can update Elten to the releases version.
Now you can connect with elten by elten-net.eu page or by application on
windows.
In the future elten will be on ios and later on android.
In the near future voice call will be added.
I know my english is not perfect, sorry for the mistakes. If you don't
understand something, just tell me.
Best regards.
