It will be the culmination of Musicians in Focus ground breaking work in the European EQUAL partnership *Inclusion Through Media. The results of evaluations of access to music technology and education will be presented with recommendations for the future. Seminars and advice surgeries, exhibitions and presentations will provide opportunities for discussion and networking on a range of subjects promoting access to music in education and the profession for those with a visual impairment, dyslexia or other special needs. Showcasing the work of the Royal College of Music, Musicians in Focus and the Inclusion Through Media Partnership, this unique conference will be of great interest to all in music education, industry and the profession. Day 1 Focusing on music technology and of particular interest to specialists in that field in further and higher education, professional development, life-long learning and the music industry. Day 2 Of interest to wider education and the profession, educationalists and policy makers addressing approaches to teaching and learning, discussing long term solutions for access to music for visually impaired and other special needs students and professionals. Performances by students at the Royal College of Music will take place throughout the conference.
