EasyConverter Version 2 - The Journey Continues
Continuing Innovation - What more would you expect from Dolphin?
True to their word, Dolphin's EasyConverter development schedule is proving to
be a fast and full journey packed with exciting new functionality. This week
heralds the launch of EasyConverter version 2 less than three months after the
launch of version 1.
Keen that early adopters of EasyConverter aren't left behind by this fast
innovation, Dolphin are already shipping the first of the free upgrades to
EasyConverter customers that adopted the "EasyConverter Journey".
What's New for You?
NIMAS Support
Version 2 introduces NIMAS (.xml) as a supported input format, so EasyConverter
customers can access the thousands of learning materials that are becoming
available in the NIMAS format and convert them to the full range of
EasyConverter alternative formats including DAISY, MP3, Large print, Braille
and text files.
No matter what document you need converting, there is now an input method to
suit you and an output to suit your user. PDF to DAISY, no problem! NIMAS to
large print, easy! The choices are endless and simple for you to manage.
Password Protected PDFs
Our customers told us that they needed to access locked PDF documents. No
problem. When you input a locked PDF, EasyConverter version 2 prompts you to
enter the password(s) and then allows you to continue, editing the intermediary
file should you wish, before selecting your required alternative format.
Microsoft Word 2007 Supported
Word 2007 documents with the new file extension .docx are supported as an input
format.
Synthesiser Exclusion List
Version 2 blocks your access to any synthesiser that might be locked to another
access technology product by the terms of their licence agreement, but that are
still residing on your PC.
