Had you totally removed Eudora? That is to say in your Applicationh
Data folder there are files for Eudora, including your mail boxes and
etc. I'd recommend going to it, do a CTRL X to cut  and paste it to a
different place on your drive, back up drive or thumb drive. Then
totally remove Eudora, shut down your computer. restart it, reinstall
Eudora, maybe a slightly  earlier version even  and enter all your
info in from scratch. Maybe  you've done that but like I say the
application data folder has items like your Eudora ini file and other
system files. If you don't physically remove them, they'll be on
there. I've done a uninstall many a time and never removed those to
have my mail boxes and etc. in tact. I'd wipe  all Eudora a off and start 
over.
