You could trya service such as Magic Jack for your house phone and you can
take it with you on your smart phone or the adapter is small so you can plug it
into another router elsewhere and still have your home phone.
I had hoped to untether things from Xfinity by now. They are a lot more
reliable than the were as few as five years ago but I don't watch enough TV to
warrant the extra cost and Magic Jack offers calls to the uS and Canada at no
extra cost at about $5 or less dollars per month.
I will just use mostly free apps and Amazon Prime which will suffice for me.

Hello Tina and everyone,
We've had Spectrom for years but we're counting down the days to when
we finally cut the cord and have a much lower Spectrom bill to pay each month.
We'll still use them for Internet and Phone. We're using Fubo TV for local and
network channels. We're finding that we rairly watch live tv channels and
hardly any via the Spectrom box and App. Fubo TV has us covered where live
broadcasts are concerned. We're just days away from telling our cable tv
service to go by-by!Since we have a variety of tv apps for us ditching cable
will be a case of "Less is more!" All the best.

eter, how are you guys getting local tv now? We haven't had good
luck with antennas in our apartment, so wondered what you're doing for that.
We've just had Cox's local tv pack. We don't have a cube, al though glad to
hear it's working well for you. We just have the fire stick and are still
really liking that.
