I jjust wash my hands in bleach water. Haven't encountered anything that won't
remove.

Subject: [blindcooks] Removing odors from hands
I have heard that about the stainless steel being able to remove unwanted
odors from the skin, but for some reason, it does not work for me. The odors
of onions and garlic can sometimes hang on to my hands for two or three days.
Though they do fade with time, hand washings alone aren't enough. I wonder
if it has something to do with how dry my skin tends to be and perhaps the
oils from these foods get into my skin where they're not easy to remove.
Emily does not seem to have this problem, which is why I sometimes have her
chop these things for me.

Since you mentioned scouring your hands, there's a really easy way to get
odors off your hands. They make a stainless steel thing that looks like a
bar of soap for you to rub on your hands. It works. You don't, however have
to buy one of those things. Just rub your hands under running water with the
back of a stainless steel spoon or anything else stainless for that matter.
I've used it to remove odors from onions, garlic, tuna, and more.
