Parker House--No Yeast--Rolls
1 3/4 cups flour
1/4 cup cornstarch
3 tablespoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons shortening
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
Margarine, melted
Sift 1st 4 ingredients; cut or rub in shortening.
Mix to a dough with beaten egg and milk.
Knead. Roll 1/2 inch thick, cut with cutter.
Brush with shortening; fold together and brush with melted
margarine.
Bake at 450°F for 12 to 14 minutes.
