Yes, well, you can go into preferences and tell Juice not to check for new
podcasts on startup and if you have a schedule enabled, uncheck it in the
schedule menu option. This will give you the result you are after.

Subject: a juice question

Hello everyone:
I've been trying this juice program for a couple of days and I got a
question and am wondering if anyone could please help me out. Is there a way
that when I open the program can I some how uncheck the podcast so that I
can only download what I check?
thanks
Juan
