Yes. This remains an issue, and there are other basic accessibility issues that persist despite Adam Curry's public pledges of better accessibility on his Daily Source Code show. I've long since given up on PMN, Podshow, etc. Podcasting is really nothing more than distributing audio files in MP3 format via RSS feeds. Any other aspects of it were just nothing more than a fad, IMHO.

Does the Artist account use visual verification? I just got an email asking me to validate my podcaster account, and can't do it because of the verification. I've contacted PodShow about this, so hopefully they can help me, but darn!
