Oh, the Olympus ds series are fantastic. I have the ds-30 which is the little brother of the group, the ds-40 and 50 have more memory. All three models have talking menus. The recorders have an attached stereo mic, but can accomodate more professional solutions if needed. They're a bit pricey, but definitely worth it.
