Advice on podcasting

Hello Blindcasting
Iam considering podcasting from my website, but i no nothing about the
equipment i will need to record a podcast session from the boat i would be
crewing on. It would have to be fairly small and water proof.
Has anyone have any suggestions, iam just looking for something basic to
start of with.
