I'm buried with things to do, I have not had the chance to try on my all in one machine. I have not set up my fax. Thanks for the tip!

When I was on Magic Jack a few months back, Everything that I read said that
a fax would not work, and if you got it to it wouldn't be reliable. This
came right off the magic jack web page.

I do not know why a fax would not work? That was one of the advertisements on Magic Jack. I do not have my original packaging. The paper I have says
that it must be plugged into your USB port of your computer, my guess is
that you would plug your fax line from your all in one machine into the
magic jack. You have already been assigned a phone number. The magic jack
has answering machine, call waiting, tell me why it will not work on a fax
machine?

   Hello Mark,

You can ask any question on this list, as long as it doesn't defame
anyone. I use magic jack with the cheapest cordless phone I found out
there for ten bucks, and it works well. I can't say whether or not any
phone works better, but I can tell you that the phone I have been using
works really well.

Thanks

Hi
I was not sure if this is the right list to ask this on but I have
a couple questions about the magic jack system.
First, is there a preferable phone to use with this VOIP
situation? I tried one of the old trim line phones from the last
century and the results are mixed. I think it might have a problem in
the cord. Second, does one have to stay with a corded phone or can one
use a cordless?
     Thank you.

God bless,
Mark
