Example: My son's girlfriend lives in Canada. She assigned herself a US
phone number which allows her to send and receive calls from a US phone
number. If she had assigned herself a Canadian number this would have
meant
international calling . I saw the list of numbers used by magic jack,
yes
there were fees up to .99 cents per minute and as low as .09 cents per
minute.

The downfalls are that you need to have a constant and good internet
connection, you must have a ruynning computer, and you must have good
luck. Also, I've heard that magic jack's minutes aren't actually
unlimited, regardless of their claims, although I don't know this to be
true.

You can ask any question on this list, as long as it doesn't defame
anyone. I use magic jack with the cheapest cordless phone I found out
there for ten bucks, and it works well. I can't say whether or not any
phone works better, but I can tell you that the phone I have been
using
works really well.
