Steve, unfortunately VPC cannot run machines created in VMWare. VMware has a conversion utility but I don't know if it goes from VMWare to VPC or only the other way around. One thing that may work is to find one of those utilities that will take a snapshot of a hard disk and create a .VHD file from it. You could run that util while in an active VMWare session and create the .VHD image from there.
