Subject: [blind-it] Re: Jaws Accessibility Of Visual Studio

If you are doing development in JAVA or Visual Basic, How do you setup a
visually appealing screen for visual users? How do you know it is layed
out correctly? Once you are in the development tools, how do you get to
all the buttons and and sub-windows maybe I am missing something because
these are the issues that I cannot seem to find an answer to? I can get
around somewhat in SQL server but not all the features are accessable by
JAWS, there is a lot of functionality that I cannot seem to get to
unless I have a sighted person helping me which means I am not very
productive. I would like to setup some time with those of you using
these tools to see what I am doing Wrong. Your help is greatly
appreciated. Today I am mostly a mainframe programmer and code in COBOL
and use DB2 but more and more the push is to use all these visual server
applications that I cannot seem to figure out. Please send me your
phone numbers if you can be contacted and I will call to see when the
best time is to discuss with you. My email is OCHAVEZ@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Thanks again.

I use VS2005 and VS2008 almost everyday.
Works fine with the jaws scripts installed.
Look up visual studio and jaws on google.
