It is an exspansion slot on the motherboard, not intergral to the motherboard. We would like to eliminate the RAID configuration and boot from a SATA hard disk. What is involved in this? Is it as simple as removing the RAID controller and installing a SATA controller and attaching it to a SATA hard disk? Are there any changes to the BIOS that must be made?
