For anyone who is interested,
The Microsoft level 2 tech person couldn't fix my email problem yesterday,
but he did demonstrate that I could use Outlook with the Magic voice if Jaws
were turned off. He was referring the problem to level three and suggested
that I report it to Freedom Scientific. I was using the email that way until
last night when BARD sent me a message that The New Yorker had arrived. I
had to turn on Jaws in order to download it. After I did that, I thought I'd
see what would happen if I went to Outlook with Jaws open. Outlook has been
working rather well ever since I did that with Jaws. I have sent an email to
Freedom Scientific, and I don't know how long my luck with Outlook and Jaws
will last. But for now, things are working relatively well with only a few
hitches now and then. Level 2 thought the problem has something to do with a
Jaws driver. I won't go into all the details of what has been going on with
double messages in my inbox and to Miriam folder and difficulty with auto
complete and other weirdnesses. But for now, things are working.
