Here's a bit of a spin on a tired old Talking Dog Yarn.
Fellow walks into the bar with his old gnarly dog. "Hey," he says to
the bartender, "I bet you one hundred bucks I got a talking dog".
"You're on!" said the barman.
Fellow turns to the dog and says, "What is that on top of this building?"
"Roof!" says the old dog.
"What would Elmer Fudd call it?"
"Woof!" panted the dog.
"And what is that stuff on the tree out there?'
"Bark!" says the happy dog.
The bartender has had about enough. "I'll ask that stupid dog a
question he can't answer. Who wrote the song, Somewhere Over the
Rainbow?"
"Yip!" shouts the dog, doing a back flip. And the bartender kicked
them both out.
As the fellow and his dog walked down the road, the dog looked up and
said, "Sorry boss, I couldn't think of Yip's last name."
