I think you might want to revise one part of this. It was in 1964 that Barry Goldwater was running against Lyndon Johnson. In 1960 Kennedy's opponent was Richard Nixon.

_The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump_
edited by Bandy X. Lee, M.D., M.Div.

Twenty-seven nationally and internationally respected psychiatrists and
psychologists, along with three others concerned about the safety of our nation,
have contributed to this book warning about the possible dangers to the citizens
of our country and the rest of the world posed by the present occupant of the
White House based upon the public record of aberrant behaviors he displays.
According to accepted rules of ethical behavior for those involved in the mental
health community it has been considered unacceptable to attempt to diagnose a
person who has not agreed to psychological examination, a rule that goes back to
1960 when Barry Goldwater, a Republican candidate commonly considered a "hawk",
or pro-war, was running against John F. Kennedy, when a number of mental health
experts publicly offered mostly negative "diagnoses" of perceived pathologies
they believed he displayed. Once Donald John Trump bragged, bullied, and bought
his way into the Republican nomination for President, however, an increasing
number of such people have taken part in a growing debate as to the ethical
ramifications of NOT offering warnings regarding the marked unfitness of this
man for the office he now exercises. Most are horrified by the rampant symptoms
of malignant narcissism he displays; others examine his obvious paranoia, and
all are worried by his apparent pathological inability to tell the truth.

Inevitably the close parallels between Trump's behavior and that of other
would-be and historical dictators and tyrants are made by several of the
contributors to this book, and they are indeed frightening. Trump's inability
to reach beyond his own sort of people for advice and his rage toward anyone who
appears to criticize him is examined and described, as well as his apparent
intent to turn all norms, laws, and government programs upon their heads. He
has, after all, put forward a non-educator as head of the Education Department,
a woman who had donated millions of dollars to Trump in the past few years who
has done her best to undo support for public education as well as ethical
requirements intended to protect students from bullying, sexual assault, and
physical battering; a former upper echelon member of Verizon as head of the FCC
who immediately rescinded net neutrality regulations intended to allow all
people and internet providers equal access to internet speeds and bandwidths;
and a former industrial magnate as head of the Environmental Protection Agency,
where he has removed almost all scientific articles regarding the environment
from its website as well as nullifying almost all laws intended to protect the
public from industrial pollution and abuses. Betsy DeVos, Ajit Pai, and Scott
Pruitt are but the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the manner in which
Trump's administration appears desirous to destroy our way of life and public
health and safety.

Articles are relatively short and to the point, and each definitely written by a
separate individual with his or her own particular concerns and point of view.
Add in an article written by a lawyer who's speciality has been to work on
orders to place individuals who pose a danger to themselves and others in
protective situations and another by Tony Schwartz, who did the actual writing
of Trump's "The Art of the Deal," and you have a well-rounded look at the
dangers posed to the nation and the world by this pathologically dishonest,
dyslexic man now supposedly running our country.

Definitely recommended. I ordered and read a print copy from Barnes and Noble,
but it is available from Audible and as an e-book as well.
