Roger, you don't have any reference for what you say below. It's all
based on mere speculative assumptions. You couldn't even tell me what
the name of the book you claim you read, so I could check it out. I'm
sorry. I have wasted enough time with you. I swear, I will never
converse with you on any subject. However, will keep posting to the
list to just bait you. You have to learn first what an objective
conversation is. You don't seem to be learning and you will never do.

made on that page that I thought was very good was that the history of
the origins of the Qur'an was written by Muslims. That calls into
question virtually any claims about its origins. But I did get this
quote from the web page I was looking at:
"Three opinions on the authorship of the Quran are as follows:
* Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon him) himself wrote the
Qur’an
* The Qur’an was written by someone else and taught to Muhammad (Peace
and blessings be upon him)
* The Qur’an is the pure word of God having no human author"
* Okay, the third one is ridiculous and can be dismissed. The first
two are credible and they do confirm that it came from Muhammad
either directly or indirectly. Without knowing more about the actual
situation at the time of Muhammad the contention that it was written
by someone else and given to Muhammad appears to be an unnecessary
complication. That is, who would have written it and given it to him
and why would that have happened? Using Occam's razor the most
likely answer is that Muhammad wrote it himself. So I still stand by
that contention as the most likely origin of the Qur'an. I await
what Mostafa has to say because he really is in a position to know
more about the origins of the Qur'an than I am. Still, though, given
his record of making utterly ridiculous pronouncements and insisting
on their truth I rather expect that he will go for the third
explanation. But, again, this was only a cursory search on my part
and once I decided on the page to look at I did only a cursory
reading of that page. In case anyone wants to look at it here is the
