A lot of people have said, and are saying the same thing. Apparently, the
government doesn't want to listen. Do you suppose it is just stupidity or is
the motive to keep the population under control and the military contractors
in business.

Excellent article. IT brought to mind a BARD book I read a few years back.
I"ll paste the pertinent information on the book below my name.
I suspect that the book's author, Malcolm Nance would agree with most or all
of what Van Buren has to say here.
Nance argues that groups like al Qaeda are out to destroy traditional Islam.
He says we should do less militarily and do more economically and
diplomattically in order to be more successful in our opposition to groups
like al Qaeda. I highly recommend this book.
