I would very much appreciate it if you would not include the addresses of
other people when you send a post to the Blind Democracy list. The other
people have nothing to do with this list. Some of them, like Don Moore, have
ideas that are opposite to those of most people on the list. When you
include such diverse people in your posts, many receive responses that they
don't wish to receive. Some of the people, apparently, don't wish to receive
your posts at all. There's a sort of code of ethics here among members of
blindness email lists. Each list has its own membership and most lists have
very specific rules about what can be posted and the manner in which things
are posted. Blind Democracy is a more relaxed list than most. But there are
some messages that are unsettling and they come from people who aren't list
members. All blind Americans are not the same. So remember that we would
like to be treated respectfully as individuals and we would like the
integrity of our list to remain unbreached.
