writers. Do you remember when Dubya started a sentence with terrorism and 9-11
and then finished the same sentence with Iraq? He probably wasn't smart enough
to think of that dirty little trick himself but he had the dinero to hire
someone who was.

Today, on The Real News Network, I heard a clip of Trump's Tuesday night speech
that I hadn't heard before. It had to do with immigrants. Although his comments
about immigrants were mentioned by many people, no one mentioned something that
I noticed in this particular clip. It was an incredibly viscious and clever
piece of treachery. He took bits and pieces of fact, wove them into a huge net
of lies, and fashioned the thing to perfecgtly appeal to people's fears,
prejudices, and bigotry.. As I listened to that part of the speech, I thought
that perhaps he's not crazy or stupid or demented. Perhaps he's smarter than
anyone gives him credit for and he's about to become the Dictator of the United
States of America.

others in congress who also present a human face, she is just downright genuine.

was excellent, and very politically sophisticated. To me, she sounded
like the perfect Democratic presidential nominee. You can't tell if
she's part of the left wing of the party, but she certainly does a
beautiful job of representing the public face of the party.
